One of the worst companies I've ever worked with. After careful review and consideration, I decided to choose APEX moving company for my transfer from CO to OH. Not only did it take the crew a substantial amount of time to move the few items I had, they also underquoted me by 70%. When speaking to the co-owner, Sam, about the additional charge of well over $1,000, he was unprofessional and unapologetic.

When talking with the broker, all items were initially accounted for, but as hidden fees continued to add up, they movers left many items behind, as I was unaware of the exponential difference in price. It was blatantly clear that the company's greed took over and good customer service was neglected once my card was on file. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Used this moving company for my PCS from TN to GA. These guys were punctual, professional, and VERY quick. Not just for the packing in TN, but the unpacking in GA as well. These guys are amazing and very organized. Nothing missing, everything was labeled, would HIGHLY recommend using these guys for anyone who needs to move!

My household goods were delivered this past Saturday by Joseph, Robbie and Dan. They arrived early and were very professional and helpful. They completed the delivery in a noticeably efficient manner all while paying attention to the details. I highly recommend them and their company to anyone looking for quality individuals that will get the job done the right way. I plan to refer them any opportunity I can. Great work fellas!

This company was one of the worst I've ever had to use and we have moved several times. I won't even get into the details to much but I will warn you that they are a bait and switch company and they lie to you just to get you a low ball quote so they can double and /or triple it on pick up date when you are most vulnerable. If I could give them a half a star I would but that option isn't available.

Soon as they got my deposit they went "poof" into thin air. My stuff was picked up the 6th of January and I still haven't received anything of mine. They sent me a few boxes and a trampoline of someone else's and a bar stool which is all I have to sit on : I've been on an air mattress for months and I have a bar stool to sit and look out the window cause they have my t.v.s and all my other stuff. Please don't do what I did and go with the lower quote because now I have nothing and they won't answer a single call or email I send. SHAME ON THE!

I am not happy with how they scam you out of more money. As I see it they work two different angles. The agent quotes you a number way above where it should be saying it's just an estimate and that they'd rather shoot high so when the final numbers come in it will likely not be over. Knowing clearly my little move would not take 5 hours, I still accepted the offer. I've had much larger moves that didn't take that much time. Then, they add their estimated materials into those numbers.

I asked for a breakdown of what those materials were and my representative said boxes for my electronics which I told him that they aren't taking any of my electronics. He said they'd take it off on the back end. The other angle: the movers. What ends up happening is the movers take that "over the top" estimated time and stretch it out as long as they can.

Ultimately there is NO WAY my tiny move needed to take 5 hours but that is what they stretched it out to be. The company / agent charged me the full amount, no questions asked. I had to file a complaint and the only reason I am giving them two stars instead of zero is because they did the right thing and adjusted my final amount after I submitted a complaint. Everyone is out to make a buck and they take advantage of you by doing this method in hopes you won't pay attention.

I was completely miss lead by the company. When I'm negotiations, I assured they would get me my things within 14 days of them picking them up. The second I signed the contract, I was completely ghosted by the local atlas rep about pick up dates and when I could expect them to be at my place to move my things. I was called out of the blue by a driver who said he was on his way to my house to pick up my things, this was a Saturday morning at 7AM.

When they arrived they were very professional and careful when packing my things. From there, weeks and weeks went buy with out any contact from atlas. I called into their 1800 number countless times asking for someone to please call me back and to update me on my move. Sadly, I was completely in the dark the whole time about my move across the US.

Same thing happened at drop off. I got a random call at 3pm saying the movers would be at my place at 6PM. 3 hour notice after my things were held hostage for over a month. Do not ever use these people when moving your things. Buyer beware! If I could give 0 stars I would. I run a business if I ran it like these guys, I'd be OUT of business.

Don't do business with tthis company. Three bids in 3 days $2000 apart. They clearly do not know what they are doing! Could be they're just crooks. Something is seriously wrong!

We were beyond impressed with our experience with Apex moving. We had a heavy peloton tread that weighs around 500 pounds. It had to be lifted coming down the stairs and back up at our new home. They accomplished the task without any issues. The best part about our move was that we actually had fun while moving. They were very kind, personable, and fun!

If we find ourselves needing to move again these guys will definitely be my first call. Whit was also great to work with. He made sure everything was organized and ready to go. Thanks Apex!

My experience with Apex was absolutely exceptional from the pack/load day to the unpack at my new residence. The crew was careful, respectful of me and my property and they were just nice guys. The most impressive part is that I had a missing part to a piece of my furniture that was left at the warehouse. They drove it back up and returned it to me in perfect condition.in fact it was my driver from the unpack! Marcy on the sales team is experienced and gave me faith that I would have a good experience. I highly recommend and would use them again.

These movers are phenomenal and I would recommend them any day and to anyone who wishes to have the headaches of moving taken out of the equation. The office was extremely professional and always there when I needed questions answered. The drivers and movers were also very professional, but felt very down to earth as well. I felt very comfortable having them deal with my property. This is also the first time where I have moved and not had anything broken or scratched. Everything was done very well and I would use them again if I ever needed it.

We just used these guys to pack and move us and we are very unhappy. First of all they left a ton of stuff at the old house. Our entire linen closet was untouched, like they just forgot about it. One of the bathroom's shelving didn't get packed. And on and on. The head mover was loud and obnoxious. Constantly berating the other mover who was at least a nice guy.

But they made multiple mistakes. They put things in the wrong rooms, we had multiple items broken. In one of the wardrobe boxes that I just hung up the clothes from - I was about to throw it away when I noticed all of my ties and belts thrown in the bottom of the box all wrinkled up. So annoying. They talked down to my wife. Once they got our money they stopped returning our calls. I'm really disappointed. This is my first negative yelp review. I hope Apex reads this and makes some changes

Absolutely the most professional on time move we have ever done. Cannot say enough about Matt and his crew. Everything arrived on time and in good condition. Highly recommend for large moves with storage. Don't hesitate to use them!

I had Apex Robert E Lee move me from one house to another about a mile apart and store my furnishings for about 3 weeks as well while the new house was getting ready. When the salesman Jerry came to the house to give me an estimate he mentioned that they would throw in for free insurance to cover my belongings. All that was said. When they were putting up my guest bedroom I noticed that they had crushed one of the drawers in the platform bed.

They had wrapped it in a pad and then put something heavy on top of it. They crammed it in and now it won't open up. For almost a year I tried to get them to fix it. Finally they sent a guy out to give them an estimate of the damage. It was ony like $285. I was being nice and not demanding that the bed be replaced as the funtion of it is ruined.

I recevied a letter from Bunny telling me that they would not fix the drawer as it was under the $500 deductible of the "free" insurance they gave me. I didnt ask for the insurance and I am now being penalized because of something I didn't ask for or want. How is that "Free"? I am a business owner and if one of my employees makes a mistake that impacts a client negatively I take responibility for it and make it right.

For only $285 you would think they would not want to have any upset clients writing bad reviews which will cost them much more than $285. These guys do not care. I figured out why they don't care. If you try to write a review on their site they delete it and don't publish it. And the review system is rigged because you can only rate them 5 Stars and nothing less. Very shady! I would not recommend these guys to anybody!

WARNING: Totally misleading. Came to give an estimate. Told us the final payment would not exceed 110% of the estimated weight/cost. In the end, we were 1500 lbs above the estimate. They then tried to charge us more and said we signed a non-binding estimate therefore we must pay the full amount of the weight in the end. We are paying the total cost in the end as we signed paperwork but VERY disappointed to learn all of this on our drive to our new home out of state and with them having our belongings in their possession. Furthermore, they used our boxes as sleds down the stairs and crushed our boxes. Also, movers left trash in our yard. All around, unprofessional. Recommend using someone else.

When thinking about an appropriate review, I thought it would be important to separate my thoughts into two parts. My first interaction was with the front office folks. They were certainly nice and professionally. However, I felt like I was nickeled and dimed on quite a few hidden fees and verbal commitments that weren't followed through with.

My recommendation would be to be very careful about specific arrangements you're making with them, and to not expect your estimates to be in that general ball park. The next piece is the movers. They were overall professional, and definitely had an art to their skill of packing. I was impressed. The drivers were responsive and accommodating as needed. If I were to move again, I would likely put my money towards another company. It would be interesting to see how they compare.

DO NOT make the mistake of hiring Apex!.your belongings will disappear and get damaged.and APEX could care less once they get your money. If I can save just one family from making the mistake we made, I'll feel a little better.

I used this company 2 years ago to move my belongings and store them for about 6 months while I was relocating. They may do well on total house moves, but coordinating the packing for a split household was a nightmare tho I went through and had things placed in corners and specific cabinets with yellow sticky notes on them, I still had to go behind the packers and ask them to pack things they'd missed.

I found out during unpacking they'd also packed several things they shouldn't have. It was several months after delivery before me and the person who stayed in the house were able to get everything shipped back and forth to each other. Considering some of these things were heavy floor lamps, you can imagine the additional cost and frustration. Coordinating their delivery to TX was also nightmarish.

We had one date arranged, then they changed it to a week I was traveling and they threatened to not deliver my goods for 2 months unless I changed my plans. I changed my plans, then they wanted to deliver everything the week of my revised travel plans! Once we had a plan established, there were several more changes with the transporters due to poorly scheduled shuttles to them while they were en route, their wanting to visit family on their way to my city, and their ignoring explicit directions on how to get to my storage unit.

The delivery men arrived hung over and were irritable with my wanting to inventory all the boxes to make sure everything arrived, as I'd been instructed to do. They also became impatient when I insisted on inspecting the expensive items and documenting the damages. I have fine furniture and antiques that came to me with scratches and dents because it had not been wrapped in blankets.

I had leather furniture that arrived with holes and gashes because it had not been protecte. My aluminum patio furniture arrived with scratches also. Incredible. I did purchase insurance, but was unable to find the paperwork or interpret it sufficiently to file a claim in the 6 months available to do so. I also found the person who sold me this service was largely unavailable during the delivery and complaints process, though his assistant did try to compensate for his absence. This company markets themselves as being reputable because they provide moving services for our military. Extremely disappointing from so many aspects.
