Moving family antique furniture from Florida up to niece in Massachusetts. The driver Marc was easy to coordinate with, very professional, and obviously takes great pride in what he does. His assistant, Eric was very nice, helpful, and paid close attention to detail. They knew exactly what had to be done to wrap the furniture so that it could ride safely. I highly recommend Sterling - especially if you are lucky enough to have Marc and Eric take care of your possessions!

My son moved to Texas (north Dallas) for a job & I did a price comparison for moving some of the furniture from our home in Los Angeles to Texas. Sterling Van Lines offered the best pricing within a time frame that worked for us. The guys that came to wrap the furniture did a spectacular job wrapping protective covering for the pieces that were going to be moved, they were polite, hard working and professional.

One the receiving end, the movers reached out to my son & did a wonderful job unwrapping & carefully moved the pieces into his apartment. Again, the movers were polite, hard working & very professional. The only negative is that on the pick up, we were haphazardly notified rather than scheduled in advance so I had to move my appointments around to accommodate their last minute pick up schedule. Other than that, I was very happy with the quality of care in moving the furniture to it's new location for the price provided. I recommend this company, very good people.

I had high hopes for Sterling Van Lines, with respect to my move from Burbank, California to Rochester, Minnesota (currently in progress). So far, I HAVE NOT BEEN DISAPPOINTED! Tyler's quote for the move (an exercycle, a recliner, an ottoman, a small rug, and two boxes) seemed very fair. Several days ago, three movers arrived at my Burbank apartment timely to move my items, and completely wrapped them up to protect them. So far, I am delighted with the value and service. Sterling moved a piano for us. They coordinated the entire process for us, keeping us informed all along the way, as well as the recipients at the other end. The scheduling office was responsive and helpful. The crew that picked up and packed the piano were efficient and obviously experienced. Everyone did what they said they would do. Working with Sterling made the project go very smoothly. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Sterling Van Lines quoted me a competitive price to move my upright piano cross country. They completed the move quickly within a couple weeks (when other companies were quoting months) and were extremely professional from providing the quote and signing the contract through the move. Their drivers navigated our street which is on a steep hill without issue and delivered our piano in perfect condition. Really exceeded my expectations in all respects. Very professional and I was grateful for their service.

Sterling Van Lines did a superior job moving 6 pieces of furniture and 30 boxes from my home in Miami to my daughter's new home in Rochester, NY. I can't thank Mark, the Sterling Van Lines driver enough. He was the most friendly, competent and efficient mover I've ever used. He was very organized and thorough. I had his cell number and he answered all my calls.

The way he carefully wrapped and labeled each piece of furniture was incredibly impressive! He had that giant moving truck impeccably organized. I so appreciate reliable, hard workers during this difficult time, especially with a labor shortage. Every single item was accounted for in NY, and he took extra time to make sure everything was delivered in its original condition.

Moved antique dresser from Iowa to southern Florida-they did a wonderful job transporting and delivered in the original condition-would recommend this company!

My wife and I had used the company both for moving and for storage. In 2012, in connection with our temporary relocation to Germany, Sterling Van Lines came to pick up a part of our belongings for storage. It remained with them until 2017, when they brought everything back. Our property was still in impeccable order. During both moves in and out of storage, the movers were very effective, careful, and courteous. Finally, the pricing of the company is very competitive. We can recommend the company in the highest terms.

Would not recommend for large moves across states. It took 4 weeks to get our stuff and they quoted us at 2200 and then 2600 when they showed up the first time and then when they finally arrived 3000! We moved a one bedroom with no appliances and it was a nightmare. I would recommend just selling your stuff and starting over.

Sterling Van lines team did a really great job in both pickup in San Diego area and delivery to Austin, TX. All of the staff were extremely professional and kept us informed during the entire process. Our furniture was actually delivered ahead of schedule as we were expecting delivery nearer to Thanksgiving and they delivered 1st week of November. Would definitely recommend Sterling to others.
