I had an excellent experience with Alpha Moving & Storage. From the moment I contacted them through the day of the move, everything went so smoothly, which is the first for me in terms of moving! They were extremely organized and professional in getting everything set up, and very responsive and friendly. On the day of the move, the movers showed up and were very respectful of packing and moving us and then unpacking us. They were efficient, polite, and I knew my home items were in good hands. I can't recommend Alpha enough. Definitely the gold-standard in moving!

Alpha and their crew were amazing! Don't waste your time calling the others movers listed on Hoboken Girl! Just call Alpha! Alpha was recommended to my by a friend who has used them multiple times. Let's be honest, moving sucks. Alpha took the stress out of it and showed up exactly on time. I had to move my apartment into storage and on short notice.
All the other movers said they were not available or quoted me over $3k. Alpha provided me a full pack and partial pack option and explained it was an estimate and I would be billed based on time and items. Well, I ended up doing a majority of the packing myself and they only charged for time and items which was significantly less than the original estimate. They also managed to get my whole apartment into a 10x10 storage unit. I was amazed!

We hired Alpha Moving and Storage for our recent move, and everything went very well. Preparatory work (scheduling, estimates) went very smoothly, and all my questions were answered quickly. Moving day was quick and efficient. The movers took lots of care with our belongings, and asked plenty of questions to make sure that everything was placed where we wanted it. Prices very reasonable. We had a very smooth and positive experience with Alpha Moving & Storage. They were recommended to us by our real estate agent at Keller Williams. The Sales Representative at Alpha accurately took inventory of the contents of our apartment by video conference call which saved us the effort of having to write everything down and take photos like other conpanies asked us to do before they would quote.
Their fee was very reasonable compared to others. At our request, they expertly packed away the kitchen and some clothes which left us with less stuff to pack ourselves. They arrived on time with a big, clean truck and prepared with supplies. We stayed out of their way entirely while they packed stuff, disassembled furniture and carefully wrapped them in cargo blankets.
They did not scratch any walls, were very professional, and moved us out of the apartment seamlessly and on schedule. Once at our new house, they reassembled and put all furniture in place at upon our directions. All in all - excellent job through and through and we are happy we chose them!

I have just completed my third move using Alpha Moving and Storage. From my very first experience with them some years ago, I was convinced that they were the best. Here's why: (1) their overall pricing is competitive; (2) their cost estimates are accurate based on the information you provide - no surprises with the final bill; (3) they do a thorough preview with you the day before moving; (4) they show up on time; (5) they are professional, padding your doorways and furniture, handling them with extreme care - I've never had anything damaged, and I've entrusted Alpha with my most treasured and fragile belongings; and (6) best of all is their staff - the team always does a fantastic job, right up until the last box is unpacked and all the furniture and rugs are in place to your satisfaction. Alpha Movers were great to work with! They were clear with their estimate up front, fast at responding throughout the process, fast with submitting a COI for my building's management company, and the movers on the day of the move were great. I had a move with a relatively short turnaround - everyone at Alpha was incredibly helpful throughout the entire pre-move process. On the day of the move, the movers arrived early and got to work right on time. Everything went smoothly and all items arrived safely - they also set everything up perfectly in the new location. This was the second time I had used their services (after doing a bunch of research for the first move), and would highly recommend them if you are looking for movers.

When we needed movers, I contacted a couple of companies to get an estimate. Alpha stood out mainly because of its professionalism from step one. Someone came in person and gave us a detailed estimate with clear explanations. Some other company had tried to count every single item in the house via video call and I thought it's impossible. We were more impressed with Alpha during the move as the whole team was very careful, yet fast and reliable.
They were careful about not damaging anything during moving out and in. There were no hidden charges. It's not inexpensive, but not expensive either. We only had to pay more than we calculated for some additional boxes because they said they can't carry stuff in large garbage bags. I hope we won't have to move ever again, but if we have to, I'd call Alpha guys. Highly recommended.

We used Alpha Moving this past Saturday and we were extremely happy and grateful for their service. Eddie and 3 other movers arrived 15 minutes ahead of schedule and wrapped up at the time estimated on the initial quote. The move went smoothly but the best part is we were able to arrange the drop off of our two couches to a separate location near our home within the time frame. Whenever we asked for anything the response was always, "no problem". I definitely recommend using Alpha Moving and will recommend them to friends and family.
