Bob is a native of Central Pennsylvania who moved to in Indiana, PA, in 1967 after serving in the Air Force. While attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania he was employed as a Helper and eventually a Van Foreman at McNaughton Moving & Storage. After his graduation from I.U.P. he took a role in the Operations Department as a Dispatcher which lead him to becoming a co-owner in 1985.
McNaughton Moving & Storage provides packing, crating and warehousing services, as well as relocation services on a local, intrastate, interstate and international basis. We offer excellent service through the recruitment, training and retention of staff members who are dedicated to delivering superior service.

This office is our corporate headquarters and is staffed Monday through Friday 8am until 5pm except holidays. It is also staffed most Saturdays from 8am until 11:30am.

Our move was fantastic and super easy! Everyone was very nice and easy to contact, which was great since we had a couple different drop off and pickup locations. Luke was wonderful and got everything set up for us, and answered all our questions promptly. The movers were very efficient helping us pack some of our belongings, and were very careful and respectful with our furniture to prevent damage in transit. We would happily use this moving company again in the future!

I used McNaughton & Latrobe Moving & Storage for a local move in Johnstown, PA in June, 2021. They packed, moved, and unpacked my belongings. The move was a very positive experience for me. The crew did a very careful and thoughtful job packing my belongings. Nothing was broken in transit. The thing that impressed me most about the experience was the professionalism of the crew.
It was a crew of three young men. While unpacking my belongings, they checked with me regularly to see where I wanted them to put things. They showed great care in handling my belongings. The crew was pleasant and hard working. I knew that I was getting their best effort. Considering the high level of service I received, I found their rates to be extremely reasonable. I would recommend McNaughton & Latrobe Moving & Storage to anyone looking for a high quality and positive moving experience.

Critical: Value I have done business with them multiple times and enjoyed a professional relationship. But this last time they took much longer than expected to complete the job and therefore charged me more that quoted. I would recommend if you use them to get a solid quote on the job. The experience would of been great but some of our stuff was lost. After investigation, we were told we should of opened all boxes before the movers left; that would of been over 70 boxes! I lost some sentimental items and computers. So if you use them make sure they do an inventory of all your items. I wish I could print the inventory sheets they were blank with lines drawn through them with an initial on each section by the movers. In fairness to the movers they did a good job of moving our stuff down to our new house.

At the recommendation of relatives when we moved to PA from NY years ago we used McNaughton Brothers. Amazing, Amazing, Amazing! Prior to the move here I had, believe it or not, moved 27 times (military & job relocations) and have used every National moving company there was. This was the 1st time I've rated a moving company 5 stars! I'd rate higher if I could!
They truly are fantastic. Since moving here we hired their services again 3 years ago when we moved my mother in law here from NY. Again, everything was perfect! No complaints at all. The entire staff is amazing to work with. We've just hired them for the 3rd time and I'm sure this experience will be just as wonderful (and stress-free) as the last 2 moves were.
