I would give this company a big zero if it was available. We moved from Tucson to Phoenix and our property had to be stored for several months before delivery to Phoenix. When the movers picked up our furnishings they were extremely careful. Our BBQ had a new canvas cover that touched the ground. The movers reversed the cover back over itself to not catch it in the wheels.

When the furnishings were delivered the BBQ cover looked as if someone took a butcher knife and sliced, ripped and tore the cover from one end to the other. There were black stuffing on the cover suggesting it got caught on the wheels and someone simply continued to run it over. We had a 1020's Original Art Deco table. Solid oak runners 1 1/4 thick located under the table were split down the middle as if you took an axe and chopped a log in half.

One of the legs was broken and loose. The side rales of the table had been originally made with dowel pins entering the leg from two sides. They were sheered off. The mahogany top had scratches on it from something being dragged across it (It was wrapped in a blanket when they picked up the furnishings). I completely understand an occasional ding or blemish may occur during moving. However, a shredded BBQ cover and a wooden table broken into pieces is not what I would consider expected and reasonable damage. Considering this furniture has been moved four times without so much as a ding, says something about Citizens Transfer and Storage.

Their claims agent suggested everyone would claim negligence so they rely on the insurance you take out when you move. In other words, I NEED TO TAKE OUT INSURANCE TO COVER THEIR EMPLOYEES who apparently are free to do whatever they want to someone's furnishings without any accountability. Just the BBQ cover is enough to demonstrate negligence.

The damage to the table might only have happened if something heavy had fallen on the side of the table, not the top, but the side. This causes me to believe it was dropped from a significant height causing enough force to splinter ok railings under the table. I pray someone has the time to take this company to court and remove the protective umbrella they hide behind. They need to be held accountable for gross negligence. Dr. JK

This is by far the worse move I have ever seen. Everyone in the office including Gus and Tara, are quick to point fingers and play the blame game but don't follow through with anything! Tucson to Miami move started in June. First movers were incompetent and packed items that had post it note do not pack attached, also packed empty boxes and moving materials I had been collecting for them.

Then they had the nerve to charge us for extra boxes when they packed mine and used the twenty wardrobe boxes I had in storage. That was a fight we let go but then they charged us $800 extra to store 6days yet didn't deceived on the 7/26th date and in the meantime took 3 weeks to get a certificate of Liability for new building. Had to call the contacted Allied co myself and then wait for that person to get a hold of the idiots in Tucson due to the 3hour difference.

And we still haven't received our move in items. And they have the nerve now to say 1week. We've been living in a hotel since 7/4 so no way do I recommend this company to handle anything. I wouldn't trust them with items to donate to goodwill for crying out loud. Take your business elsewhere as they are all talk and excuse after excuse without follow through is unacceptable in ANY business.

This company stole our $300 AC unit and destroyed over $1,000 worth of our belongings. Ernie and his crew did not indicate that I should be present to inventory either the load up or the unload. Either during their "lunch break" when they took the truck with our belongings somewhere for an hour, or during the two days they kept our things at their storage, someone stole our $300 AC unit from off the truck (the lady who first came to our house told us that her son was looking to buy one.coincidence?), and since it hadn't been included on the inventory list (how was I supposed to notice with over 250 other registered items?) they didn't have to pay our claim.

When we finally unpacked our things we noticed they had damaged over $1,000 worth of our furniture, dishes, and other belongings. These guys are absolute CROOKS and THIEVES! Avoid at all costs!

First the good - the men in the field were fast, courteous and competent. Now the bad - that would be everything ELSE about my experience. The salesman went through our house to determine an estimate for our move in only a few minutes. When he delivered an estimate, I warned him that the LAST thing I wanted to have happen was to ". have the cost of the move and the storage to be 20 or 30% higher than his estimate." He dismissed my concern with the claim that ".

I have been doing this a long time." Though we, in fact, sold a couple of rooms of furniture, the cost to move and subsequently store our furnishings (for a year) turned out to be 25% higher than estimated. When I called about this, the explanation was ". you had to have added more articles to be moved" which was OPPOSITE what had happened - we had SOLD OFF furniture.

After paying much more for the MOVE than had been estimated, I ALSO had to pay for or an entire year at a MUCH higher storage charge. I had no other recourse - they had my furniture. Upon the re-delivery of our goods a year later, the legs of our expensive leather couch were crushed. It was obvious that someone had simply (and carelessly) dropped the couch.

In the LENGTHLY negotiation to have them repair the damage, they finally informed my that without any additional insurance coverage, they would only reimburse me $60 for the repairs of several hundred dollars. When I objected to the inadequacy of their offer, they informed me that I had not purchased the additional insurance. I told them that IF I had been provided the opportunity to purchase additional insurance, it was poorly explained.

The consequences of rejecting additional coverage (I presume at a nominal cost) was that I only had standard coverage of 30 cents per pound. As I explained to their Customer Service Agent in Chicago (NOT in Tucson - the General Manager in Tucson refused to talk to me), I would have been a fool to not purchase additional coverage. A quick calculation to repair a 400 pound/$4500 hutch after being ruined in the move would have been $120 (400 X.30)!

You do not want (or need) to hear more and I do not want to tell any more. We have had to repair our couch at our own expense. It seems to be such a foolish decision on their part. I have already influenced another family moving from Houston to Tucson ($10,000!) to use someone else. It would have been cheap (and good business) to do the right thing. My advise is to use any other vendor you can. These folks were a nightmare.

This company is the best moving company I have ever used. The driver loaded our 20,000 pounds out of San Diego and delivered us on time in Tucson. Crew was extremely professional and best of all, there was no damage to our help belongings. I highly recommend this company.

If zero stars was an option that's what they would get. I used allied/Citizens to move me out of state this year and they damaged many of my items to include a cherry wood sleigh bed. I have moved many times working directly with the military and never have I had such a bad experience when trying to get my items repaired. They made NO effort to help and that includes the owner who out of frustration I sent an email to for assistance after months of getting no help from his employees.

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone who has to move. Their lack of customer service after they have been paid is ridiculous! WORST moving experience ever and apparently the owner is too busy lining his pockets to care out unhappy customers since he hasn't responded to my email sent over two months ago. I can see where the poor customer service stems from-straight from the top.
