We had our Nordictrack delivered today by River and Gonzalo. They were extremely professional laid out mats to assure our flooring was not damaged, took their time in reviewing all details of the assembly cleaned up when job was completed. My husband and I could not be more pleased. Great representatives of the company. Truly they care and enjoy what they do. Pleasant experience with this team.

Bradley was a great mover, he was able to get my very very heavy dressers up and down 2 flights of stairs. He's been moving people with this company for over 25 years from all over the U.S. and is a pro. A hard worker too. Brian was helpful getting the move scheduled and arranged. Great experience with Dixie moving.

Absolutely great people. They are friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. I spoke to Tina who was very nice and very helpful. I recommend this company based on great customer service and relations.

Veteran of about a dozen moves. This one took place spring 2013 so things may not be the same but our experience was noteworthy enough to document for others to learn from. GOOD- We packed ourselves and they gave us used boxes as needed so that was helpful and helped reduce expenses. - They exercised appropriate care in handling our goods. Moving damage was light and did not exceed fair wear and tear. BAD - they couldn't get everything on the truck so we had to rent a uhaul trailer and move the remainder ourselves. - They charged us more than the contracted price when they reached the destination with our goods.

This was a violation of the contract and interstate commerce law but they were holding our goods hostage so we just paid it. Brought the moving price up to the price of the next higher moving company offer. OTHER- Not good or bad just a comment. We provided lunch for the crews on both ends and tipped all the workers. In our case this amounted to about an additional $500 as I recall. It's good to take care of these folks cause they are taking care of your stuff. Lesson learned- lowest price isn't necessarily the best deal.

This company is horrible and unprofessional. They were hired to pick up empty boxes from our move. They only picked up half saying that there were cobwebs and it endangered their crew to load the rest of them. My kids and I went out to see what was the endangerment? I saw no bugs, no spiders. They also said the boxes were wet. We may come from Arizona, but we definitely understand what it means for boxes to be 'wet'. They weren't. I would NEVER use them if I had the choice.

I've moved in excess of 13 times in my life wirh government; international, local and cross country. By far, the most careful, professional, attentive and expedient crew I've seen to date!

Dixie Moving, with an Atlas Van Lines semi trailer, moved us from Florida to Huntsville. I would give them 10 stars if possible! The packing guys were so professional & not one thing was broken in moving our 2200+sq ft home! All clothing was boxed in hanging boxes & every box labeled so well unpacking was as simple as possible. Extra movers met us at our new home in Huntsville & unloaded the large semi truck in a matter of hours.

The two guys in charge of the move were the most upstanding, professional movers we've ever worked with. They stayed late on the last day of move out & unfortunately a few items, such as a spare window AC unit, would not fit. We were able to rent a U-haul trailer at the last minute & towed the few remaining items. This may seem negative but it is very difficult to inventory every item in a home & with antiques, they required more space to transport safely.

Every move has some bumps but from our prior experience with military movers & crates, these guys were The Gold Standard in moving! Not 1 item was missing or broken. They guarantee their moves with claims for extra peace of mind though we didn't need a claim. They were able to move most clothing dressers with clothes left inside which made unpacking so much easier.

They set up our beds & helped place large furniture on our move in day. I was so grateful & tipped each guy who worked tirelessly in hot August Florida & Alabama heat without complaint! The moving coordinator kept in constant contact as our move was for a job relocation in less than 4 weeks. Absolutely amazing service & will definitely use them again for in town or out of town moves! I highly recommend Dixie Movers & their hard working team! Could not be more pleased with their professional service!

We've moved 14 times so I know what we are talking about: it was a two 40 feet container move to Germany. So we have a lot of things and just a little damage because those guys did an excellent job taking care of our things. And even though it was hot and humid they worked their - you know what - off and were polite and friendly until the very last minute. If I were you and in Huntsville I'd chose them to take care of my belongings!

Great service and very nice people. We had Bradley and Scott move us today and they did a great job. They made it easy for us and I feel like we got a great value. We would recommend them to anybody.

Great experience with this company. My only mistake was not calling them directly, as I did not realize my destination company would collect a profit for themselves. I would use them again if ever moving from Huntsville area. They were very careful with our stuff and super nice guys.
