BEWARE! I signed up for a storage unit online, and the next day I went to get my code and look at the unit; I was informed I could only use their locks which they conveniently sold in the store for about 18 dollars (Flat Key Cylinder Lock ). I was a little annoyed because I had brought my own lock that I had just purchased. So I placed the lock on the unit and left.
I came back the next day with a car load of my things, only to find out they had miniature-sized carts! Luckily I had my own normal-sized cart in my SUV. So I loaded it up and entered the elevator. Once in the elevator, you have to put your code in for the elevator to move. It accepted my code, and I needed to get up to the 3rd floor, but the elevator would not move.
I called the number on the elevator, and they told me just to take another elevator. I had the same issue with the 2nd elevator and got stuck in that one. I called the front desk, and they told me to take the stairs. WTH I can't move my things to the third floor by stairs. I was so frustrated I put my things back in my car and left. I decided to stay in my other storage unit because it is much better.
And everything works, and you don't need a code to get the elevator to move. I called the office and asked to be refunded and close out my account, and the woman had a very defensive attitude and said the elevators work perfectly fine, and no one else complained about it. IMO she should have apologized and said, I'm sorry that you have had a bad experience thus far.
How can we make it right? She said corporate doesn't allow refunds. They closed my account and took my money. I didn't even move my things in, and it was only the 2nd day. They don't care about people and are thieves! Plus, the area looks pretty shady and dirty. Storage king if your reading this! Please do the RIGHT thing and send a refund!

Just signed my paperwork and got my storage unit. and the process was SO EASY. I'm super thankful for Erika, who took the time to answer all of my questions. She was very thorough and didn't rush me. She was such a delight & pleasure to talk to and I knew with service like that I can't be wrong in my decision to rent a unit. The location is super clean & safe and had exactly what I was looking for.

My walking in experience was very warm and welcoming. Erika has a wonderful people person skills, listens to the customers needs and wants. She walks you thru the whole process from beginning to end. She has gone above and beyond her to get the job done. Thank you Erika for making my transition easy. I will definately refer Storage King to friends and family.
