I rented a uhaul in March. The company is fraudulently charging my credit card $54. Nobody in the office seems to know how or why. The experience of attempting to resolve this has been slow and painful, and an aggravating frustration. There are better things I could be doing, than to calling the office and asking them to refund my money. Every time, I told that they have to get in touch with the manager.

The manager should be calling ME to resolve the issue. Do business with a more ethical and efficient storage/ uhaul dealer. You will be glad you did. The owner blames the charge on Uhaul. The charge is from A Better Storage. Uhaul's finance team contacted me to inform me this fraudulent charge has nothing to do with Uhaul. Be careful If you decide to do business with these thieves. *Update * I had to dispute the charge via my credit card company to be reimbursed the fraudulent charge. I also had to report my card stolen to ensure future charges were not added to my card.

They changed the lock to get into the building with my unit inside without notifying me. I tried to get help and they said my key should work, I was locked out of my storage for an entire day. I've had to wait hours to get help and support because they don't have the personal to take care of their customers. After returning later they actually looked it up and there was a lock change, so provided me the new key. Won't rent from this place again.

You wont want to store anything here folks, not if you like spend time tinkering with your own belongings. The management have no qualms about working up a campain of sour attitude, frequent harassment, and close monitoring when and if they decide you are spending to much time with your property or their scale has informed them that your level of interest in your personal property is unacceptably suspicious.

The boundary between loyal customer and suspicious loiterer has grown very thin these days.a boundary which is created as needed and executed on the fly by people with complex personalities that subject to the same stresses as the rest of the world, a boundary created only by the management which has the power to change me from a loyal customer to a suspicious loiterer.

The rental agreement empowers management to limit hours of operation of the facility but it says nothing about limiting access on an individual basis nor does it empower anyone to reduce a loyal customer to a suspicious loiterer when there are no past due considerations.

DO NOT use this place for UHAUL services. I've used UHAUL many times in my life, and NEVER had such a poor experience. I never wrote negative reviews.but here we go. Through the UHAUL portal my reservation was guaranteed ready, with a $50 guarantee. I arrived during normal business hours and then door was locked. I called, and the line just keep ringing. Fortunately, after several minutes, I noticed the site managers walking their dogs.

They said they couldn't help because it was their day off. I was shocked. After a bit of "what? This makes no sense and doesn't work? I have a confirmed reservation.". They finally agreed to see what they could do. The manager admitted that the hourly staffer shouldn't have taken off for lunch until the order was fulfilled. I also asked for confirmation of my time limit and billing.

I was told as long as the trailer was back before close, no added charge. So, I returned the unit several hours before close. The hourly staff was lethargic and disengaged. Regardless, I parked the trailer and she said there was nothing else I needed to do. I drove off and returned to my home to find an email with the final charges. I was charged for 2 days!

I immediately called and left a voicemail, asking that they call me back as soon as possible to correct the error. Nothing from them that day. I called back the following day, after giving them almost a full day to return my call, and someone finally answered. The staffer immediately interrupted and told me that I needed to call u-haul, that it was not their problem, that they didn't handle any of this.

I was very frustrated by this time, and told them how poor this customer service was. They immediately hung up. I was so shocked. I called u-haul, and they fixed the problem. They were sorry that I had such a terrible experience. Unfortunately, this represents u-haul.

Great self storage. Great front desk help. Clean and orderly. However some people are in after hours with the gate unplugged and make everyone's property at risk. I will change the review when someone does something about the issue.

Carolyn and the owners of A Better Self Storage - West are top notch. Our non-profit needed a storage unit to garage a full-sized van and our equipment on short notice. Carolyn went out of her way to meet our needs, even when those needs changed, with a great attitude. The facility is clean, modern and we look forward to working with this great team for a long time.

Our non-profit just bought a 15-passenger van to transport our disabled vet participants to the lakes and rivers we fly fish. With very short notice, Carolyn and the owners of A Better Self Storage - West helped us find the right unit and generously got us in to meet our insurance company's requirement for indoor storage. Even when the needs changed, Carolyn solved our problem. Great staff, amazing customer service and perfect facility for us.

I have a shop in the same center as U-haul, which makes it very convenient when I need a truck. Carolyn is always eager to get one for me and the process goes seamlessly. The only thing I would ask is if you could get her a cargo van as most of my pick ups and deliveries don't require a big truck. Carolyn and her husband are always ready to help me out with anything I ask and they keep the grounds spotless. Kudos!
