Whatever service you need, you can be assured of the special care that will be provided when handling your possessions. The pledge to use large quilt furniture pads, plastic wrap all overstuffed furniture, and to use floor and stair rail protectors to illustrate our desire to provide 'built-in' precautionary measures when moving your goods.
In our generation a lot of old fashioned values have seemingly disappeared, such as work ethic, respect, courtesy and kindness. When Liz and I accessed our move we were somewhat overwhelmed by the complexity of it and I knew I had to seek help. I now have to reach out to you and express my appreciation for you and your staff for a tremendous atta boy!
In-home or around the world, A-1 Moving can provide your relocation services. Years of experience and knowledge shows in each job performed. Cost savings techniques are incorporated in each move whereby resulting in best value practices for each customer. With the use of specially designed moving equipment and trained personnel, relocating items found in office buildings and institutions are carefully orchestrated and executed by A-1 Moving. Working with the customer using a 'game plan', floor plans and deadlines, items are relocated either in-house or building-to-building.
The storage of any items at our location is performed using the same stringent requirements imposed by the military who routinely inspect our facility for their storage compliance. Household goods as well as other items are stored according to the nature of the item as well as the anticipated duration of the storage period.
When having either a single item or several truck loads of items shipped to you, A-1 Moving provides a place to have them received. At our facility, we have the full accommodations by which to both receive and store your product(s) until such time as they are needed. In fact, you don't even have to be present when items are received.

Appalling service - originally said 5-10 days - then when picked up said 21, then said 21 business days! picked up thursday - was then picked up following thursday- did not communicate - said was on way. spoke to driver on saturday- no response. finally texted back still in la and not leaving till today or tomorrow continuing non communication after repeated calls - driver called back and said he was waiting for a part that he hoped would be there today called again - now part not due until next wednesday- belongings still in california quoted one week from getting part to furniture arrival asked to speak with supervisor none available no call back called again- on hold 10 mins spoke to supervisor 'not my fault - can't do anything- we're inside our contract'. etc etc would not give full name, e mail or her supervisor information. she then hung up on me and told me to stop calling because nothing would change NEVER USE THIS COMPANY - I WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS - BUT NOT AVAILABLE i have still not received my belongings

We recently moved here from Virginia. Being in the military, you deal with ALOT of different moving companies and employees. When we had our belongings delivered to Missouri, I was so impressed by the professionals at A1 in Rolla, MO. They were by far the most friendliest and upbeat crew that I have had the pleasure of meeting. Great job guys! Highly recommend this company.

We only needed them to move our very heavy piano from point A to point B, but from phone to finish everyone we dealt with was prompt, efficient, professional and helpful. They showed up when they were scheduled to, called ahead before showing up, and we're very careful with my piano. It also ended up costing a lot less than I had thought it would. No problems here and I would definitely recommend them!

I am outraged to say the LEAST! We are a Marine Corps family who let A-1 moving do our packing from Fort Leonardwood to Georgia. When our shipment arrived 32 out of our 426 boxes weren't even numbered. The 32 boxes that had a number had description of the items inside and they did not have the proper description written! What a guessing game to find out what items I'm missing.
They packed glass with carpet sprinkle and spices with our shop vac from outside! 15 items were broken from being thrown in boxes not properly packed. They did not even take apart our dressers and glass end tables and they came broken. I'm beside myself and would recommend to anyone if the USMC attempts to assign this company to do a move DO NOT LET THEM!
I'm disappointed angry and saddened by the service. WOW. The one star I gave them was mandatory to write a review but they don't deserve even 1 star. Trying to save the next people a headache!

My military move was scheduled and verified in early April for a move in late June. Two days before they were supposed to show up, I get a call saying my 2 day pack, 1 day load move was going to be reduced to a one day pack and load. Not having any choice, I went along with it, only to have the lady coordinating my government move call me the day before my now one day move (which was of course the last of the three days) to tell me A1 could no longer facilitate the move. WTF?
Now I was left scrambling, transportation was trying to get someone else to come, I have to be at my next duty location (we don't generally do much pcs leave), I can't make my move out date for the house we're renting, the cleaners can't come if the house isn't empty. Oh, and my husband is gone for training and I'm pregnant trying to do all of this without actually being able to physically DO much. Hopefully, the military stops using them since they apparently don't need our business. The only reason they get the second star is because the driver that came is part of the overall A1 company (not the local branch) and HE was really great.

The military used this company to pack and move us to our next duty station and it was horrible! they stole every area rug i had in my home also my daughters guitar! they didn't pack a lot of stuff and just put it in the truck like i was moving up the street and not across country! my couches were damaged, also my television! among other broken items! i was extra nice bought the crew bottled cold water because it was extra hot! if you use them watch like a hawk and it will take longer just because if your watching them they can't do more than one room at a time. i was 9 months pregnant and obviously i couldn't be in all the rooms at once! they are horrible thieves! try to avoid at all costs or you will pay in the end!
